To the best student bar in Cambridge
We're one of the only student-run college bars in Cambridge set in the atmospheric cellar underneath Clare's historic chapel. Each term, we offer a full bar service and host a number of exciting events which you can find out about in our What's On section. We look forward to welcoming you to the Bar!
What's On
The Bar organises a number of its own events as well as other externally organised events which take place throughout the term. Be sure to follow our socials and subscribe to our mailing list to find out about these events first!

ABOUT THE BAR
Clare Bar is run by students for students. Our Bar Workers are all current students at the college and work at the Bar in their spare time.

The Bar is managed day-to-day by the Bar Committee led by the Bar President who liaises with the college and has overall responsibility for the Bar and its workers.
The Bar Supervisor prevents unauthorised shenanigans from being committed by the bar workers. The current bar supervisor is based. She also manages stock orders and bar maintainance.

The Bar Manager works alongside the President, and is responsible for organising shifts.
​
The Treasurer keeps track of the bar's finances.​​​

The Events Officers organise events which take place during the term, manage the bar's social media, and organise bar socials.

Cellars is also home to Clare Sound and Clare Jazz. Clare Sound is the leading student-run sound engineering in the country and manages the sound and lighting for most Cellars events.
